Stone Mountain Park Widows Tour |

Scarlett knows what it is like to be a widow, so instead of being left out of the dance, we have created a Widows Tour to one of the Atlantas area most popular attractions, Stone Mountain Park. The parks namesake and focal point is a massive dome of granite 1686 feet tall 18 miles east of Atlanta. Our tour includes transportation and an Adventure Pass to the parks main attractions. The park offers several lunch options thorough out the park from full service restaurants to quick concessions. |

Savannah The Garden of Good and Evil |

For our post/convention tour, we drive southeast through Macon, Georgia, arriving in Savannah in time for lunch on your own at Paula Deens restaurant or any other place of your choosing. The tour includes a hop-on/hop-off historic Savannah trolley tour. Savannahs downtown area, which includes the Savannah Historic District, the Savannah Victorian Historic District and 22 park/like squares, is one of the largest National Historic Landmark Districts in the United States. |

Callaway Gardens and The Little White House |

Our drive south to Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia, will take us to this floral wonderland, where we will visit the John A. Sibley Horticultural Center, a three structure, 5-acre greenhouse/garden complex. Unlike typical greenhouses, the Center addresses the needs of people as well as plants. You will mingle with<br /><br />thousands of plant varieties that are compatible with the natural environment as you travel the winding walkways by a rock wall garden, past a 22-foot waterfall, and into the redwood gallery.<br /><br />The Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center features the largest glass enclosed tropical butterfly garden in North America along with a spectacular outdoor native butterfly garden. Biltmore House |

Our drive north to Asheville, North Carolina will take us through the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains to the 8,000 acre estate built by George Vanderbilt. The Biltmore House, opened on Christmas Eve, 1895, is still the largest house in America. This French Renaissance chateau contains 250 rooms, complete with 65 fireplaces, 34 bedrooms, an indoor pool, a bowling alley and more. |

Atlanta Yesterday and today |

Our tour begins with a drive through historic Downtown Atlanta, including Underground Atlanta, the State Capitol, the Olympic Rings, and a stop at historic Victorian Oakland Cemetery, featuring the Lion of the Confederacy, the Memorial Obelisk and Margaret Mitchells grave.<br /><br />Our next stop will take us to the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Site, where we will visit his birthplace and burial site.<br /><br />We then continue north on Peachtree Street past the Fox Theater, Margaret Mitchell House and other sites on our way to Buckhead, Atlantas uptown, upscale neighborhood, where we will drive past the Atlanta History Center, Swan House mansion and the Governors Mansion.<br /><br />We will stop for a lunch break at the Varsity, the worlds largest drive/in, situated near the Georgia Tech campus. We then continue to Centennial Olympic Park, where you may choose to visit a variety of attractions, including the Georgia Aquarium, CNN Center, World of Coke and other sites. |
