Our drive south to Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia, will take us to this floral wonderland, where we will visit the John A. Sibley Horticultural Center, a three structure, 5-acre greenhouse/garden complex. Unlike typical greenhouses, the Center addresses the needs of people as well as plants. You will mingle with<br /><br />thousands of plant varieties that are compatible with the natural environment as you travel the winding walkways by a rock wall garden, past a 22-foot waterfall, and into the redwood gallery.<br /><br />The Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center features the largest glass enclosed tropical butterfly garden in North America along with a spectacular outdoor native butterfly garden. While you walk through this enclosure, butterflies land on you and the<br /><br />foliage. There are also educational displays and a film that will allow the visitor to learn more about butterflies and their remarkable lives.
